You could either make the drive to Florida for every UTA (which would turn out to be very costly and time consuming), or you could do an Interstate Transfer to the North Carolina Air National Guard. The likelihood of you being able to be attached to a North Carolina unit and remain a member of your current unit is a bit on the low side, especially for the duration of your stay in North Carolina. But, that isn't to say it's impossible, and you really need to discuss your options with your chain of command to gauge the feasibility of what you're trying to do, and their willingness to work with you.
