ok..in my experience there is not one only reason why this happen...

1st. if this air con have repair before or install a new compressor and the supply power is 3phase the reason why this happen is improper wiring.

2nd. what type of aircon? window type or split unit or centralize?

3rd. if the unit is split type.. there is a type of splite type dont have a filter drier.. that's why the discharge line make it cool.. there is many reason why this happen in air con..

ok i just share my knowledge.. im mark angelo manuel.. from philippince..

You need to check the freon level first because it low............

Does low suction pressure have an effect on reciprocating compressors?

At very low suction pressure, the suction valves of reciprocating compressor will not work and there will be no gas in the cylinder during compression stroke, resulting some damage to the suction valves. If low suction pressure trip protection is not provided there can be some abnormal damage.

How is work quench valve in reefer?

A refrigeration circuit is provided with a quench line connecting the liquid line and the suction line and containing a QEV. The QEV is controlled responsive to the superheat of the refrigerant supplied to the compressor. By injecting liquid refrigerant downstream of the suction modulation valve and the sensor for the TXV, the system can be operated at low capacity without overheating the compressor oil.

How does pump-down works in refrigeration?

When the call for cooling is satisfied, a solenoid valve closes, stopping the flow of refrigerant into the metering device. A pressure switch that controls the compressor will keep the compressor running until the pressure in the suction line reaches a low pressure. Usually this is just above 0 psig. When a call for cooling opens the solenoid valve, the pressure in the suction line starts to rise. When it reaches the set-point of the pressure switch, the compressor will start again. As a reminder. only trained and qualified personnel should work on refrigeration systems. There are many things that can be dangerous or possibly lethal while working on refrigerant systems.

Why is coefficient of discharge of venturi meter is more than coefficient of discharge of orifice meter?

In Venturi meter losses are less so coefficient of discharge is higher whereas in orifice meter due to no convergent and divergent cones there are more losses and hence its coefficient of discharge is less.In venturi meter losses are low due to steamline shape of the diffuser and the pressure gradient is not abrupt as in case of orifice meter.

Why hotwell level is maintained in condenser?

High hotwell level will get the cooling water tubes of condenser submerged in the condensate hence cooling efect will be reduced consequentaly vacuum will drop. Low hotwell level will lead to low suction pressure of Condensate Extraction Pump hence it may lead to cavitation.

Is the suction line the high side?

No, the liquid (discharge) line is the high pressure side. The suction line is the low pressure side.

What effects appear if you reduce the diameter of impeller?

Suction head will decrease Delivery head will decrease. Discharge will increase at low suction and delivery head. discharge stagnate at low head than rated head.

What causes your home AC compressor to keep getting too hot and quit cooling?

Defective pressure switch not cutting out on hi-head pressure The compressor depends on the suction line for coolong the motor, if its low on freon then the suction line will not be cool enough to cool motor windings.

Where is the low pressure for the AC to refill freon?

on the large ref line (suction line)

What is a suction line on an Air Conditioner?

The suction line connects the evaporator outlet and the compressor intlet. Low pressure refrigerator vapour is drawn from the evaporator to the compressor through this line.

Which port on AC compressor is low pressure 1999 Chevy blazer?

They may be marked "S" and "D" for suction (low side) and discharge (high side). A simpler way would be to look at the lines going into and out of the AC.... the smaller line will be the high pressure line, while the larger line will be the low pressure line. The low pressure line will connect at the compressor inlet, and the high pressure line will connect at the compressor outlet.

How do you know if you have a leak in the central air unit?

The system will not cool if it is low on refrigerant. Check the suction line and see if it feels cold and is sweating. The suction line is the larger of the 2 and is covered in black insulation. If it is not sweating or if it is warm to the touch, you are probably low on refrigerant. If you have to have refrigerant added more than once, it's a sure bet there is a leak in the system.j3h.

What should the low pressure be for a 404a refrigerant on a freezer?

18-20psig suction 250-270 psig discharge In freezers pressures are ok .I got it ,but the mention pressure of suction 18-20 discharge 250-270 at what temprature in centegrade it should be.

What should the high and low pressures be for 404A refrigerant on a refrigerator?

18-20psig suction 250-270 psig discharge In freezers pressures are ok .I got it ,but the mention pressure of suction 18-20 discharge 250-270 at what temprature in centegrade it should be.

What happening when you are overcharging an air conditioning with freon?

discharge pressure is high, suction pressure is high superheat is low and subcooling is high.

Why suction of blower is up side and discharge lower side?

If you are asking why the low side is high and the high side is low that would indicate that you have a restriction in the a/c system...........

Which is the low side port and which is the high side on a compressor?

Low side is the suction side and will have the larger hose attached to it and the high side is the discharge side and will have the smaller hose........
