You put a new motor in your 1989 yamaha 125 dirt bike and it starts but when you put it into first gear it's not engaging any thought?

[Edit]

Answer

IF IT IS BRAND NEW IT SHOULDNT BE IN THE CLUTCH ,BUT I WOULD START WITH BASICS' START WITH CLUTCH CABLE,MAKE SURE ITS THE RIGHT ONE, CHECK BOTH ADJUSTMENTS ON CLUTH LEVER,AND AT THE CLUTCH IT SELF,IF THE ENGINE IS WHAT SOME SAY NEW USED YOU CAN USEALY GET BY WITH WITH REPLACEING CLUTCH PLATES,SPACERS,AND SPRINGS, DONT LET THEM SELL YOU THE WHOLE KIT ,IF YOU INSPECT THE CLUTCH BASKET MOST OF THE TIME THAT PART IS NOT NEEDED AND REPLACEING THE BASICS THAT I STATED WILL SAVE A LOT OF MONEY ?
