Basically your PC will be faster, 2 things affect the speeds of computers, CPU/Processor is raw power, RAM enables more things to be done at once, however because your computer is doing hundreds of things (in the background) even if your only writing a word doc, being able to do more things also increases the speed. 6400 runs at a faster MHz therefore the ram is faster than the 5300, however you shouldn't mix and match, RAM should always be in matched pairs if possible, your PC will probably run faster with 2 5300's rather then a 5400 and a 6400 (even though this would seem better).
