Well, if it can't restore then just go to the store you got it from and have them fix it or exchange for a new one.
Easy esse look hold the sleep botton and home botton together for about 30 secs, more likely that the iPod will turn off in less then 30 seconds.
Plz correct me if i wrong.
Have you ever put it into dfu mode, hold the home button and the power button at the same time while it is connected to your computer hope this helps!
i have this probleme to, i have a 3G ipod and its jailbroken and i wanted to update it with itunes but he gives an error on itunes, now it is stuck on recovery mode, and he can not restore with itunes
i don't
Restore it on iTunes on your computer or put it into recovery mode then restore it
if it is a 3rd generation you use the blacra1n program again. if not restore it in itunes.
Recovery mode on ipod touch is when your ipod touch shows a connect to itunes sign
Hold sleep and home until it turns off. More likely the ipod will turn off in less then 30 secs no need to download the other softwears to get it out of recovery
Recovery mode is for when your iPod becomes bricked (the software becomes corrupt, it's unusable) or you simply wish to format (completely erase and reinstall) the data. If it is in recovery mode, it's set to be formatted. -Q
hold the sleep button
Connect it to your computer and open iTunes. Restore it.
I dont think you can. either you restore it or you have someone fix it or replace it with a new one
try putting it in duf mode.( if it doesnt make a sound on your computer then you have to time it.) if u dnt know how to do it. hold the top and bottem butten Dow for 10 secs then let go of the bottom one till u here a sound on ur computer Edit: my answer. This does work (for me at least..) because I had this exact problem (jailbroken iPod touch stuck on recovery mode screen) and I just kept experimenting to fix it. You're going to need a different computer with the latest iTunes installed. Simple turn on iTunes, plug in your iPod touch with the new computer and it should say that iTunes has found an iPod in recovery mode. Press ok and click 'restore'. Then just go through the rest and you'll be downloading the latest firmware for you iPod Touch. Hope this helps you and other people with this problem. Edit: if that doesn't work then trick your iPod touch! How? by doing this: 1. launch blackra1n or download it 2. "click make it ra1n" 3.let it shut your iPod touch off 4.then while it says "running" turn your iPod touch on rapidly...... 5. slide or put in passcode if needed then enjoy your iPod :) OR HOLD SLEEP AND HOME FOR ABOUT 30, MORE LIKELY THAT THE IPOD IS GOING TO TURN OFF BEFORE 30 SECS
You can use the TunesKit iOS System Recovery to get out of recovery mode without using iTunes. All the processes will not remove any data on your phone.
