I would say it would be,O.K . Although to be safe, it should usually be between 6-8 weeks! (Any other questions write on bio-page message board) ~Kittenz
no way!! mice need to be at least 4 weeks old til they ;eave their mum. at 2 weeks they still occasionally suckle and need to be with their mum and siblings.
Kittens can go to new homes at about 12 weeks. When its at home it will be attention seeking.
There are no 3 1/2 year old kittens. By that age, they are cats. The kittens are ready to go to new homes at about 12 weeks.

Your kittens will probably survive, but you should go to the store and find some solution to feed your kittens. They sell the solution in Walmart and probably most pet stores.
Well, you should be looking to sell when the kitten is NO YOUNGER than 9-12 weeks as this is when the kittens are ready for their first vaccinations. The first vaccinations need to be done before they go to new homes.
As soon as your kittens are pretty well weened and her milk is drying up, you need to get her spaded because she will then go in heat again and you will have another litter! I think my kittens where like 8-9 weeks old when I got the mother spaded and the vet said she was getting ready to come in heat again.
Many, if not all, cat breeders strongly advise that you should not take a kitten away from its litter until 10-12 weeks of age. The reason for this is this allows the kittens to learn how to behave around other kittens and people. Playing with their litter-mates and mother teaches the kittens what is and is not acceptable. Taking a kitten away at this crucial stage of development can cause behaviour issues later on in its life as it will not have been taught otherwise.

Most people adopt from the local animal shelter, or buy from a reputable breeder (good breeders often health test the parents and do not let the kittens go before twelve weeks old).
Really, the best age to give kittens away is about 12 weeks. You should never give 6 or 8 week old kittens away as they are still too young. It usually takes 12 weeks for kittens to learn all the vital social behaviours they need to develop into well behaved adult cats, as well as knowing how to groom themselves and use the litterbox. Pedigree kittens probably need a little more time than moggies, so you should definitely give them away between 12-14 weeks.
At three weeks they're still nursing, and still cannot see. Kittens only start to open their eyes at around three weeks, and start to walk around at four weeks. Mother cats normally begin weaning their kittens at around four to six weeks at the very earliest, and it takes some time for the process to be complete. Most kittens are ready to leave when they reach 12 weeks old. It's possible to hand raise a kitten that is even younger, if it is abandoned or orphaned. However, the ideal food for kittens is milk from the mother cat, so it's best to go the natural route if that's at all feasible.
