My suggestion is get new earphones, but if you have tried other earphones and it still hasn't worked then you should go to best buy or somewhere that would know things about iPods and ask them to fix it.
Another way that worked for me is to hit the earphone gently against the table and may shake the inside into place.
This is a problem mainly cause by a bad headphone plug-in. Check the device you are plugging the headphones into. Try plugging the headphones into another device and see if you get the same problem. If you do, then the headphones are probably just broken. Sorry :(
It isn't the jack. The most common problem like this for headphones and ear buds is a stretched cord on the side that no longer works. Either the wire is broken inside the insulation, or has pulled free of the connections at the speaker.
Get the damn Hesh! Hesh FTW! Hesh have mini subwoofers in them. And don't break easily, compared to G.I And SkullCrushers. Actually, you are completely wrong. The Skullcrushers have the mini subwoofers, in them. The Hesh have volume controls but are the lowest line of over ear headphones that Skullcandy has. The G.I. also have volume control and are a giant step up from the Hesh. Same price as the Skullcrushers so its up to you. Mini subwoofers and great sound or volume control and very good sound. Actually, The Lowriders are the lowest line Skullcandy has to offer. I've had mine for about three years and my dog finally broke them and they were pretty good only the bass wasn't great and they weren't as loud on my ipod as I would've liked them to be...but I just ordered the HESH and from the reviews, It looks like the HESH and SkullCrushers are both a good way to go, depending on your personal preferences...=]
yes skullcandy headphones are compatible with ipods. They are one of my favorite headphones to use with my ipod.
The skullcandy ink'd are only $9.99
The SkullCandy headphones come with a standard 3.5mm plug and will work with the audio on any standard equipment.
with skullcandy earbuds i have found if you take the little mesh metal piece that you hear sound out of, out, they not only work again but play much louder. now this is only true with the in ear earbuds. not the over ear, or on ear.
You have to unplug the headphones. Because then it will only go through the headphones!
Your speakers are broken.
Well, they had to delay the VIP orders for some reason. But I can only imagine they would be the giant ones that go over your ears. I can assume this because, atleast here in Scranton they had booths set up where you could play guitars and you had to use these big studio headphones, and the picks they had set out were the same picks you get in the VIP pack. So it can only be assumed that the studio headphones are what they will be
Skullcandy itself is a very cheap brand; using "stylish" looks to lure customers into buying expensive, nice looking headphones (that end up looking scratched and worn out after a month), but the sound quality is terrible; tinny and scratchy. Aerial7 on the other hand is an amazing brand. Their headphones and earbuds have great (and better) sound quality, better build, better looks and are available for at least half the price of Skullcandy headphones. For example, the Bullet series sound crystal clear, have unique designs, and a great build, are available for only $24.99, while a pair of Skullcandy's with quality not even close to that would look cool but cost at least twice as much. I myself do not own Chopper2's but I've heard great things about them and they should definitely be your pick. Skullcandy itself is a horrible choice and you should definitely stay away from their products no matter the situation is, or you'll be wasting your time, your money, and abusing your ears. I own a pair of lowriders (purchased for $59.99 at Future Shop around a 2 years ago), and the moment I bought them, I regretted it because they just sounded terrible. Heck, my $24.99 Aerial7 Bullets sounded 10x better than them. In short, Aerial7 is definitely the way to go; they simply have amazing headphones and earbuds (not to mention sound beanies :D). Skullcandy IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. Don't even go near them. P.S. if you're looking for other good headphones, check out a brand called UrbanEars; they work wonders ;)
no
When you plug the headphones in, that disconnects the speakers, and no sound will come from them. Unplug the headphones to hear the speakers.
Skull candy headphones usually break anywhere from 2-3 months use. I recommend buying another brand, because they are cheap. You're only paying for the brand. Definitely not the quality.
