If your problem is "speed shown is greater than actual speed" , if you wait awhile after you park it, the speed shown will decrease 5MPH every time you turn the key to accessory, and back off, LOL

Might work properly for weeks, days, hours, minutes after that.

Good luck, this should be a recall issue, class action suit soon. This is a common problem with all the GM vehicles from 2000 to 2006 I had the same problem in my 2005 Impala the speedometer went haywire at 89K miles.
