it means NOTHING. stop looking for meaning in all tattoos. many tattoos are simply whimsical and fun or aesthetically pleasing. they don't all mean things. try asking the person it's on what it means to them.
---UPDATED RESPONSE:
Actually this person is cleary wrong....they do symbolize something. While many tattoo's are gotten by people simply on a whim or for an "aesthetically pleasing" fashion marker, this is not the majority (for smart people at least).
Take the swastika for an obvious example....If you did not know its modern day implications of racism, hatred, nazi socialism, intolerance...etc...one might be initially attracted to its modest geometrical construction (and in fact it meant something very different before the Nazi's adopted it). Many tribal and Celtic symbols are very similar in this way, and thus makes them initially appealing for tattoos, i.e., people can attribute their own person justifications for what their tattoo (the geometrical unions) 'symbolizes' to them, in MOST cases.
The dual star tattoo's, or "stars above the heart", is in modern day times most commonly associated with eastern European crime family markings. They are an expression of commitment and submission, and are often accompanied by stars tatted on the knee caps as well. There are other representations of this symbol as well, more ancient, which I don't know much about, so if anyone else does, please contribute....
The stars on the knee caps would symbolize that the person with these tattoos has never been brought to their knees and or bows to no authority.
Bottom line is, know what your tattoo means to you......but also know it's etymology.
Too add to that, if you see the movie "Eastern Promises" Viggro Mortensen in that has starts on his shoulders and knees. The ones on his shoulder symbolize that he has taken responsibility for the crime family and the ones on his knees are for not kneeling before authority.
Cheers
Two star tattoos symbolizes that the person likes star tattoos twice as much as their other friend with only one star tattoo. They've taken a completely meaningless tattoo and doubled it. Mathemeticians could argue that two negatives create a positive but the theory is relative. When will the anchor tattoo return?
Dual star tattoos are sometimes associated with crime or criminal families especially those from eastern Europe. The tattoos can also represent the death of someone via service in the Navy or someone surviving a near death experience.
it means you like to shag men and women on a park bench
Eve
Matthew Bellamy and Dominic Haward has no tattoos. Christopher Wolstenholme has drawn his kid's names in the shoulders and both arms, and his wife's name in the chest. Also has a brand new tattoo in the left arm, seems to be a red devil, but very cartoonized.
Yes
I heard that if I sailor lost a good mate at sea he would put a dagger through his swallow tattoo to symbolize his lost friend. My grandfather told me this and showed me a picture of his sailer friend. He had 2 swallows on his chest and one had a dagger through it. My grandpa then told me about thow he had lost his brother (a sailor too)at sea.

The clavicle, or collarbone, is the bone that runs across the chest, between the shoulders.
a treasure chest tatoo
I have also been confronted with this dilemma. I belive that it is not ideal to workout chest after working out shoulders because your shoulders definetely assist in bench pressing. If your shoulders are sore/weak from the previous days workout, then they could hinder you from putting up as much weight on the bench as normal. Thus your chest will not get a hard workout because your shoulders will give out before your chest. So, I would say work out chest first then shoulders. Although your shoulders might be slightly worn from assisting in the bench pressing, they will still have a lot left to get a good workout in. Also, then they will have been worked out extremely hard.
Front of the chest, below the shoulders.

Chest tattoos can be as varied as their owners. The most popular designs are frequently nautical and used by sailors. Dragons and birds, especially eagles, also figure prominently.
