I am a confused student who has majored in about 4 different things and been to 5 different colleges. I am going to major in communication disorders and continue to apply to a sonography school. From the statistics about 186 students apply and they only accept 3 a year, so it may take me a couple of applications! After a year of being a childhood educations major I decided that it just wasn't for me. I wanted to teach because of my love for kids and now days the government is just too involved in that career. You can't even hug a kid if you are a teacher anymore! I was a gymnastics coach for five years. I coached children from as young as 18 months to 18 years old. I also coached my local high school and junior high gymnastics team as well. My favorite part was working with the competitive gymnasts and teaching (and perfecting) their routines!

I love to cook and am currently putting together several cookbooks for publication. I am willing to try almost any food. Cheese is probably one of my absolute favorite foods. I love to experiment with recipes and develop new ideas for cooking all the time. I also like to enter recipe contests as well!

I was the activities director and editor for Operation Razorback Support Our Troops. ORSOT was a local and non-profit organization that provided our local military troops with care packages monthly. We did hundreds of fund raisers and booth set ups to collect money. Unfortunately it grew faster than we anticipated, or could handle, and the cost got out of hand and the program ended.

I was never much one for school, so I took the initiative to take college classes while in high school and graduated high school early! So I entered college with already 15 hours behind me. So that was a big plus. My boyfriend, David, is a journalism/english major and we will both attended a study abroad trip to Ireland this summer! It was beautiful and I would love to go back! I loved the weather as strange as that was to many of the Irish!

I do not consider myself an artist by any means but I do enjoy painting. I am not much of one on drawing because it is a lot easier to cover up your mistakes with paint than it is to erase!! I took a painting class in high school and really loved it. Here is a picture of Ronnie Van Zant (singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd)

I also love classic rock and blues. I have seen Van Halen, Bob Marley's son, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Collective Soul, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Foo Fighters ,Foghat and Molly Hatchet in concert! I saw Rush in April. I get to see ACDC on January 26th! If I could go back in time to see any concert it would be such a difficult choice between Boston and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
(Thought you might enjoy this! My boyfriend and I dressed up complete '80's for Halloween last year!

I had the coolest dog ever, Frankie. He was a great Pyrenees, chow and schnauzer. I volunteered for my local humane society and immediately fell in love with him. I had him for several years and he developed arthritis and eventually got paralysis from a vet that we took him to. He got bad enough that he couldn't walk and would just lay in the floor and constantly wimper so September 24, 2008 we had to put him down. I will always have a place in my heart for Frankie!
