Nine Cubed Experience

September 1 — 9, 2009

The 93 Experience represents nine fun-filled days of events leading up to September 9, 2009 or 9-9-9 or (93). It's more than a week jam-packed with opportunities to flaunt your knowledge and creativity while winning fun prizes along the way. Keeping with the cubed theme, 93 will feature three activities: 1) AnswersHunt 2009, 2) Online Town Hall sessions and 3) Video Answer Contest. To learn more, watch this video or read below.

Who can participate?

All registered users, 13 years of age or older, from the WikiAnswers community are welcome to participate in the 93 Experience. Invite your co-workers, friends and family to join you. See rules for more details.

What can I win?

More than $4,000 in prizes for contributors participating in the 93 Experience. See individual event pages for more prize details: AnswerHunt 2009, Town Hall Sessions, Video Answer Contest.
Search for answers in the first-ever AnswerHunt contest on Saturday, September 5, 2009.
WikiAnswers is filled with tools, features and people you may not yet have discovered. This contest is a fun event consisting of clues, riddles, tasks and exploration. Work together as a team using problem-solving skills in order to complete the online scavenger hunt and win awesome prizes!
93 Tip: This contest will use many of the skills acquired by using WikiAnswers on a regular basis. Take time in advance to become familiar with the tools and features available to registered contributors.
How do I enter?
Enter the contest by registering your team's name and its three team members' usernames and email addresses no later than September 4th at 11:59 pm ET. Teams must be comprised of one Supervisor and two contributors.

When is the contest being held?
The AnswerHunt takes place Saturday, September 5 at 1:00 pm ET. Only entries that are submitted after this time will be eligible to win prizes in the contest. Winners will be announced on the Community Forum on Wednesday, September 9.
Where will I get my first clue?
The contest will start with a post on the Community Forum under "Site Announcements" at precisely 1:00 pm ET. A link will be posted in a thread that will give you the first clue!
What can I win? Each member of the winning teams will receive:

When are the Town Hall sessions?
The sessions will be prerecorded and posted online at 9:00 am ET, 3:00 pm ET and 9:00 pm ET on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. In the future, town halls will be conducted live with interactive participation from the community.
Where will I be able to view the Town Hall sessions?
Links to the Town Hall sessions will be provided via the No Stupid Answers blog and on the Community Forum as they are made available on 09.09.09.
How do I submit questions?
Let us know what you'd like to discuss in the Town Hall sessions! Submit your questions by Friday, September 4, using any one of the following ways:
93 Post your questions ahead of time using the "Your Town Hall Questions" thread in the Community Forum, under "Site Announcements".
93 Email WikiAnswers @ Answers.com (no spaces).
93 Via Twitter at @AnswersDotCom or using the hashtag #wikianswers.
93 On our Facebook fan page
Make sure to include your WikiAnswers user name when submitting your question for the Town Hall sessions.
Questions should be about WikiAnswers, tools and features found on the site, the team and so on (e.g. Will WikiAnswers be in other languages? Who leads WikiAnswers product development?)
General questions (e.g. Why do birds fly? What are some good gifts for newlyweds?) should be posted under their respective WikiAnswers categories.
What can I win?
If your question is selected to be answered during one of the Nine Cubed Town Hall sessions, you will win one of the WikiAnswers 93 prizes especially created for this event.
Produce some great video answers for WikiAnswers questions and you might walk away with fame or fortune (or a really great prize!)...

When is the contest being held?
The Video Answer Contest takes place Tuesday, September 1 (midnight ET) to Wednesday, September 9, 2009 (11:59 pm ET). Only entries that are submitted during this time will be eligible to win prizes in the contest.
How do I enter?
Create an interesting video answering a question on WikiAnswers and upload it to YouTube. You may ask the question on WikiAnswers if it is not already on the site. Be sure to mention in your video that this is for the Wiki Answers Video Answer Contest!
Add a link to the YouTube video as a related link for that WikiAnswers question.
Submit your entry with your user name, your email address, the Web address (URL) of your YouTube video and the Web address of the WikiAnswers question you answered by clicking the button below. You may enter up to 9 videos in the contest during the first 9 days of September, 2009 but only one can be chosen to win a prize.
