There actually is no known "cure" for eczema only treatments. The problems with standard treatments, light boxes, creams (corticosteroids etc) is that they have side effects, especially steroids which can weaken the skin. I've had it for years, and only recently have been looking for more natural treatments. Try searching for homeopathic remedies or something like http://www.eczema-cure-all.com (which worked for me) or check on WebMD
I would call this about as close to home as you could get. My sister had eczema so I am very familiar with it. She was prescribed all sorts of medications by her doctors, which would only provide temporary relief. The best and natural cure for eczema is Argan oil. This amazing organic oil is only found in Morocco, and contains a lot of anti-inflammatory agents which make it more than effective in the treatment of this annoying skin disorder. She used deodorized Argan oil(many people find the strong nutty odor too overbearing), and saw amazing results within the first week. It rarely appears now, and a little dab of Argan oil, is all that is needed for it disappear again.
There is unfortunately no cure for eczema, but eczema can be treated and managed with some medications. One can take immunosuppressants like cyclopsorine. One can also use a better moisturizer.
I treat mine with hydrocortisone cream. It works ok for reducing but wont cure. Mine goes away in summer and comes back about every winter. Might be light or lack of light sensitive ?
No. vaseline may help moisturize the skin, but it will not cure it. There is no current cure for eczema, but there are other treatments and some work better than others.
Aloe Vera is a cure all for any type of skin problem. It works with almost anything, and does not irritate the skin more.

You can cure a dog's eczema by applying lavender oil and aloe to it's ears. Both of these products will help heal and rebuild the skin cells of the ear.
Using crisco and olive oil is best. As for a product cetaphil is best on eczema.
Steroid ear drops. That is all I know of. Looking for more.
Unfortunately there is no 'cure' for eczema. To try and keep the skin as clear from eczema as possible is to moisturise on a daily basis (or as much as needed), and for any inflamed, red areas of skin, a corticosteroid cream may be prescribed by your doctor.
Not necessarily. If it's determined you have an allergy to cats and nothing else improves your symptoms however, than it is probably for the best.
