Yes u can. Some prefer not being touched though. If you want to pick it up, just pick it up from the bottom very slowly. It will crawl out of your hand if it doesn't want to be picked up

Yes you can! My axolotl is a pink albino and is adorable her name is Pippa! She will come and play with my fingers and follows me! I also take her out and hand feed her! Good Luck with yours
