Albert Einstein died before autism and Asperger's Syndrome were recognized as conditions, so the possibility that he had Asperger's Syndrome is speculation. Einstein had difficulties with social skills, which is one characteristic of Asperger's Syndrome, but that alone would not be enough to diagnose Asperger's Syndrome. He had some other characteristics of Asperger's Syndrome, but also some characteristics not commonly found in people with severe Asperger's Syndrome, so if he did have Asperger's Syndrome, it was probably a milder form.

Though Einstein is frequently claimed to have had many mental disorders, including some form of high-functioning autism (especially Asperger's Syndrome), there appears to be no basis for this in reality. It is true that he was delayed in his development of language, but that is not in itself sufficient for a diagnosis of autism. He was able to hold employment, could communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, was able to interact with others to the degree that suited him and was purported to have been a womaniser with as many as half a dozen girlfriends alongside his long-term second marriage.

He was, however, an archetypal example of the idiosyncratic personality type which is highly fluid in its thinking and desires non-conformity. Such tendencies could lead an individual to have a strong world of his or her own and fail to take the usual account of other people's shared 'normality'. Hence, having this personality type could contribute to a belief that he had autistic tendencies.

Whether Albert was simply a loner, or actually had a mild form of autism, can not be determined by reading peoples' memories decades after the fact. Such a diagnosis could only have been made by a professional evaluation, which was never done. His development was praised by his grandparents when Albert was two, and he succeeded in every classroom setting he was in from age five onward. His only failure was in French when applying for a pre-college school in Switzerland, but he learned that subject well enough to easily pass six months later.

Albert not only did NOT have Alzheimer's Disease, he did not have any form of age related dementia. The day before he died, he was fully cognizant of his need for emergency surgery, but knowingly refused it.

Yes Albert Einstein was profoundly dyslexic. he also had a speech problem in his younger ages which carried on into his adult years. Little fun fact his mathematical part of his brain is 15% bigger then a normal human.

Many people believed he was Autistic and learning disabled. However, he was not. When he was a child he slacked off a lot, and people believed he was learning disabled, but he grew up to become the most important Mathematicians ever.

People cannot become Autistic, Autism is a neurological difference so people are born Autistic - just like people are born black, or born with brown eyes. Autism didn't exist as a diagnosis in Einsteins time, at least not in a way which would have been accessible to him, we can make a retrospective diagnosis based on his traits to determine that he was very probably Autistic.
