Why does rachel mason die in Waterloo road?

Rachel mason dies at the end of Waterloo road series 5!!

I am an extra on the TV show and i was filmed in her death scene. What happens is in episode 18 Eddie comes back and says he still loves her, Chris also says hes going to fight for her and also max returns...

To seek revenge. Their in the office and max enters she tries to face him to leave but he declines so she asks Joyce (securtery) to call Chris and Eddie and the police so she does. When Eddie and Chris open the office door they find max stood with a knife to Rachel's throat. Chris jumps on to Max to try and save Rachel buts ends up getting knocked out. then when the police arrives uses her to get out. He brings her down the stairs and into the car park. All the staff and pupils watch in Horror and max goes to attack Eddie but Rachel saves the day but gets the knife right into her stomach. She dies in Eddie and Philips arms.

Ur left wondering weather Rachel lives or dies (but we no she dies as this was her last ever scene on Waterloo road), whether Chris will survive, and whats next for Eddie!

Also when the police finally get max they drag him past Kim who is holding a baby, shes crying and spits on him. Nothing she cant carry on she reviles shes going on holiday to just chill for a while, and asks tom to look after grace (her baby girl) and he accepts but Kim only has a one way ticket to Rwanda?

And also drugs becomes a big issue in the last 2 episodes when the police twig there's drugs at the school they do a search. Bolton nos he would get caught so plants it in Paul's bag, he gets taken to the police station and released pending investigation he goes back to the school and has a full on argument with Steph about it and being sick off accused of a druggie he storms off. Nothing its her fault Steph chases him into the middle of the road where he gets run over. When Bolton accidental reveles that the drugs where his to Steph she says shes telling the police, but Bolton gets there before her and says that she chased Paul into the middle of the road and pushed him!

So this years Cliff hanger is

Does Rachel live?

Does Chris live?

What does Eddie and Philip do Now?

Does Paul Survive?

Will Bolton tell the truth?

Will Steph get sent down for murder?

Will Kim abandon her baby?

Does Kim return to Rwanda without Grace?
