How do you change the starter on a 2004 Ford Mustang?

I changed the starter on my 95 GT last week and it took a bit longer than expected for as simple as it is due to space constraints. The starter is mounted on the passenger side of the bell-housing. It's even with the back of the front tires. First, I removed one end of the support bar bolted on the bottom side of the frame (one bolt) and swung it out of the way for extra room. (You'll need all you can get.) Remove the two starter's two mounting bolts and reposition the it so that the solonoid pos. & neg posts are towards you. Remove these cables and then the starter should be free to remove it. You may take the old one in to the parts store where they can test it first, tho. Then, just reverse the process to install the new one.
