This is presuming that you have the rainmeter softwareinsalled in ur system. Findd the software by googling it.
Then all you have to do is download loads of skins available online for rainmeter. They are usually in the ZIP file. You open the file and unzip the skin folder in to PROGRAM FILES/RAINMETER/SKINS
Exit rainmeter again nd restart it. right click on it and you done !!!!!

Depends on your computer. Some computers are ancient and can't even run games and MSN at the same time. Rainmeter shouldn't slow down your computer too much - though it really depends on the skin you're using - and it shouldn't really make that much of a difference. If you can run MSN constantly, then you should be able to rain Rainmeter without lag just fine.
You can use custom skins if that is what you mean. You cannot use multiple skins for the model at the same time.
