When you say inhaler and steroids do not work, I assume you are talking about steroids like Advair. If that is the case oral steroids are the answer, at least that is what I use. Prednisone or prednisolone. Some professionals believe prednisolone is more effective. It is 20% stronger. Example: 8mg prednisolone equals 10mg prednisone. In effect your liver converts prednisone into prednisolone, or so it was explained to me. However, you don't want to use either on a regular basis if you can help it. The long term side effects are not so nice.
Not really in the typical sense. However, albuterol is a stimulant like adrenaline so you may get jittery and experience heart palpitations. I would definitely not recommend overusing an inhaler as it can probably hurt your heart and lungs if you overdose.
since is asthma is a breathing disorder it really depends on what sport like football or soccer you will not be the best at it because you cant run like other due to loss of breath VERY easy...also t matter what zone you are and if you take your inhalers asthma is yellow zone...not good but i take my inhaler helps little at least so i think if your yellow or green with an inhaler you will be fine if your red zone not to sure =( Hope this helped =)
You throw up and then get really, really dizzy. Well, this is my experience that is.
A fast acting inhaler is the most common remedy for exercise induced asthma. Along with stoppage of stressful or straining exercising to help ease the pain of the asthma. Answer2: You need to really pace yourself when exercising so that you do not get winded/short of breath and overexert yourself. Keep your inhaler with you at ALL times no matter what.
Yes and No. YES *It can cause death if you don't keep on it. My little brother has asthma and he's in the hospital about 10 times a year. If we don't take him to the hospital when he has an asthma attack he could die. So yes. Just keep on it and if you can carry a rescue inhaler. NO *It won't cause death. ONly as long as your on top of it. Medication is your best resource. That or breathing treatments/inhalers. So No it's not going to kill you aslong as you have a doctor or someone who has experienced it by your side. Keep posted for more asthma questions that I've aswered. Wathch for the 2 smileys and 123 at the bottom. :) :) 123
