Very easily. Simply Publish/Finish your audio project file in Windows Movie Maker. The process of Publishing/Finishing automatically exports the audio in .wma format.

Once it has been publishing/finished in .wma format, you can use an Audio Converter to convert it to an .mp3 or other format if you wish.

You can't save a Windows Movie Maker project file to .mp3 format.

You do not have any other audio publishing options other than .wma either, if you are editing it in Windows Movie Maker.

My suggestion is... edit the audio in Windows Movie Maker; publish/finish it in .wma format; then convert it to .mp3 using an external Audio Conversion program.

You can't convert a Windows Movie Maker project (MSWMM) file into .mp3 format. You need an Audio Converter to do that.

During the Publishing/Finishing process Windows Movie Maker automatically converts audio into .wma files. It does not allow you to choose any other audio format.

Google: Free Audio Converters and download one online. Install the converter and follow the instructions for conversion. In your case, you want to make sure the Output Source Formatselected is .mp3.

No. There is only one audio track to work with in Windows Movie Maker.
