My dad was just diagnosed with Melanoma in the lungs and the doc said he doesn't have a crystal ball and everyone is different, but from his experience you can live anywhere from 10 months to 2 years. My dad will undergo Chemo and a clinical trial. If the Cancer does not respond to the treatments then they will stop and he will just live life and enjoy the time he has with us. This is one of the most aggressive Cancers and Chemo does not respond well, but prayers and a positive attitude is a must.
