Hams are wet and dry cured. With wet cured hams they may then be smoked at least at 160 degrees for several hours or more depending on how deeply the smoked taste you desire. Depending on the fat content, the ham may also then be aged.

A ham is smoked for as long as it takes to infuse the smoked flavor into the meat. The smoker is kept at a temperature of 70-80°F (21-26°C). The ham stays at that temperature in the smoker for as little as 48 hours or as much as six weeks.
For your 9 lb. ham you will have to do some experimentation to get it to your desired taste criteria somewhere between these two times (2 days to 6 weeks)

A smoked ham is already cooked. Reheating time for a cured or smoked ham 10 to 12 pounds is 18 minutes per pound at 325 degrees. The internal temperature of 150 degrees about three hours.
