midget is only a slang for a short person. Not a medical term!
There are varying standards even medically, but one definition restricts "dwarfism" to those who are under 4 foot, 10 inches tall (147 cm).
Medically a midget is four feet to four feet 11 and 3/4 inches tall and perfectly proportioned in the limbs, spine, neck and head. You have to have been born that way, not shrunk down to that size from aging to qualify as a midget.
