Do you have a self adjusting clutch? If so, pull UP on the clutch pedal a couple of times. Easy money- I once thought I had to replace my clutch, turns out it just needed adjusted in the manner I described.

What are some 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback wagon problem areas?

Rear wheel bearings need to be replaced often. In areas with road salt, the rear drive shafts often need to be replaced with the wheel bearing, because of excess corrosion around the bearing seals. Rust at the back of the rear wheel arches is common after 10 years. Oil leaks from the camshaft seals on the engine after 150,000 miles. Not expensive to fix.

What is the economy button for on a 1996 Hyundai accent?

it electronically changes the shift points of the transmission. by shifting sooner and not letting the engine rev up so much, will save fuel. unless you drive it like a race car, then it will get the same mileage, and add wear and tear to the engine, because the trans will be shifting before the engine gets in to it's power band, and it will lug the engine, causing early bearing failure.
