You need to remove the dash console panel and access from there. Take the top tray out, then unscrew stereo and then the air/heating panel, and take it from there.
Headlamp switch contacts need adjusting switch has 5 contacts,
Faulty bulbs, faulty switch, faulty wiring, disconnected ground.
It is because the brake light switch under the brake pedal is faulty. usually replacing this will solve the problem. it is designed in such a way that when the brake pedal is depressed the switch completes a circuit and the lights come on. the fault occurs when the switch closes the circuit even though the pedal is not depressed. hope this helps.

remove steering column cover, disconnect wiring connector from switch, remove retaining screw from back of switch, remove switch. that is not enough
