I have also given hundreds of presentations on rattlesnakes to schools, civic groups, libraries and even animal control offices.

Deserts

I have lived well over half my life (40+ years) in the Chihuahuan Desert but have traveled through, hiked and camped in every major desert of the United States and Mexico. I have also traveled the entire length of the Atacama Desert in Chile by land.

Matadors and Bull Fighting

Before Mexico became so violent I had to suspend my visits there I was an avid 'aficionado' of the bullfight. For several years I was a correspondent for an English langauge bullfight magazine and had a press credential that allowed me to photograph fights from the 'callejon.' Have personally known a number of matadors, bull ranchers and others attached to the business.
