Yes, in Pokémon X and Y you were given an item called Strange Souvenir by a NPC who claims he's from a far away region but not from the previous known (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos).This souvenir resembles a Hawaiian Tiki, where the new Alola Region and VII Generation games (Pokémon Sun and Moon) were based off.
