Tuesday is named after Tyr, the Norse god of war. Wednesday is named after Odin, the Norse god of wisdom. Thursday is named after Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Friday is named after Frigga, the Norse goddess of marriage. Tyr (Tuesday) - Odin/Wotan (Wednesday) - Tor (Thursday) - Frigg/Freya (Friday) Thursday is "Thor's Day" Friday

The day in honor of the Norse goddess Frigg. Friday was named after the Norse goddess who's name was Frigg or Freyja. Wednesday -- "Oden's Day" That would be Thursday which is named after Thor.
