Jesus provided an example for us when he made a personal choice to do God's will. Because he had been born into the dedicated nation of Israel, he was already dedicated to God. Still, at his baptism he did something more than what was required under the Law. God's Word indicates that he said: "Look! I am come . . . to do your will, O God." (Heb. 10:7; Luke 3:21) So Jesus' baptism symbolized his presentation of himself to God for the doing of his Father's will. His followers imitate his example when they offer themselves for baptism. However, in their case, water baptism is a public demonstration that they have made a personal dedication to God in prayer.
2000 years ago, God the son came and lived on earth for a tme. His name was Jesus and he was born to the virgin Mary. In doing this he became fully man along with being fully God.

He lived a life, had friends, felt persecution and experienced temptation. He lived his life completely without sin. He never did one thing that was out of God's will. After about 33 years, he was imprisoned, wrongly prosecuted and executed. 3 days later he came back to life and was eventually taken to heaven.

While here he promised us that if we have faith in him, he will forgive our sins. His victory over death will be our victory over death. We can exchange our sinfulness for his righteousness. This is the best deal ever.

Those that believe in Jesus believe that upon death they will be taken to heaven and live in His glory forever.

Until he was about 30 years old, Jesus probably practiced the trade of his father, a skilled craftsman (sometimes translated as a carpenter). After that, he became a travelling preacher, teaching and sometimes using miracles and healing to demonstrate his authority.

John 4:34New King James Version (NKJV)

34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

The primary thing that Jesus did during His life was "the will of His Father". In doing this, He never traveled outside of Israel, until the day of His death.

Well we know from The Bible that Jesus went to the following locations while in this life on earth:

1.) He was conceived by Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary in Nazareth of Galilee.

2.) Traveled in Mary's womb from Galilee through Samaria, to the town of Bethlehem of Judah.

3.) Arrived at and was born in Bethlehem.

4.) His parent took him to Jerusalem to be dedicated at the temple, shortly after birth.

5.) His parent took him to to Egypt to avoid being killed by Herod the Great.

6.) His parent took him to back to Nazareth after Herod's death.

7.) His parent took him to Jerusalem at the age of 12, but He got left behind because

"He must be about His Father's business".

8.) He went to the Jordan river to be baptized by John the Baptizer.

9.) Lead by the Holy Spirit into the desert, where He fasted 40 days, and was tempted by Satan.

10.) Throughout His ministry He went through the region of Galilee, Samaria, Decapolis, and Judah.

11.) He went to Jerusalem for the Jewish feasts several times, and finally just before His crucifixion.

12.) He was crucified on Golgotha (place of the Skull) outside the city of Jerusalem.

13.) His body buried in a rich man's tomb.

14.) While His body was in the tomb, the scriptures teach that He descended into Hades

and preached to the dead and lead the righteous into Paradise.

15.) On Sunday, the third day after His crucifixion, He rose from the dead by the power of the Father.

16.) He was seen by Mary Magdalene near the tomb, and was at first mistaken for the gardener.

17.) He spent time with His disciples and was seen by as many as 500 people at one time.

18.) He was taken up into heaven.

19.) He is presently seated at the right-hand of the Father in Heaven.

20.) He will come again in the manner as He was taken up.

Jesus is the Lord and Savior. He died to save you from sin, all the bad things that you do. By saving you from sin, He gave you eternal life in Heaven. All you have to do is pray, just close your eyes, and tell Him you believe in Him. He's listening to you, and has waited for you to talk to Him. I promise He'll hear what you have to say. He is the Son of God. He came to earth, and taught His people (commonly known as the Disciples) the Word of God (aka, the Bible). He is the best known teacher in the world, even after 2,000 years! He taught to love one another, and promised He would save the world from Hell by dying and then raising Himself from the dead. Science says this is not possible, but they have found the tomb, and many other artifacts that prove the Bible is true, and that Jesus did in fact exist. Three days after He was crucified on the Cross, an awful death, He rose from the dead. Just like He said He would. He showed His scars from the nails that had hung Him to the cross to His disciples. He gave us the most amazing gift that can be given. He gave us the gift of eternal life. If you recognize Him as the Lord and Savior, God's Son, who died and rose again to save you from sin. John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

I hope this doesn't come across wrong, but there isn't enough space to write it all. The first four books of the New Testament are all about His words and deeds.

Synopsis is that He lived a sinless life, healed many sick, including lepers, blind, deaf, lame, taught many sermons, brought dead back to life, cast demons out of people.

Many things that He did were recorded in the Bible, but John 21:25 says "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that would be written."

That was a very good synopsis of what Jesus did. The New Testament also clearly teaches that Jesus died as a redeemer for us. He did as a sacrifice in order to forgive us for our sins and give us the opportunity to go to heaven. He was buried in a tomb and came back to life a couple of days later.
