The Philippe Cousteau Anchor Museum [Museo de Anclas Philippe Cousteau] is an open air museum in the Spanish Principality of Asturias [Principado de Asturias]. The museum includes a bronze bust of Philippe Cousteau, a large ceramic mural, and currently 15 ship anchors. The bust was sculpted by Asturian artist Vicente Menendez-Santarua Prendes [b. November 23, 1936]. The ceramic mural was designed by Ramón RodrÃguez [b. January 1, 1943], Asturian artist and Director of la Escuela Municipal de Cerámica de Avilés since 1983. The mural was assembled by the school.
