The title comes from Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy. The Paranoid android song title is referring to the robot Marvin within the Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, as he is always depressed and "paranoid". Zaphod Beeblebrox a character within the story refers to Marvin as the "paranoid android".

The story of behind another brick in the wall is pretty political.
