∙ 11y agoI would say the chicken, because an egg can't survive without the warmth of the chicken. If the chicken came first, maybe there were multiple chickens and they made eggs. But the egg wouldn't be able to survive without the chicken.
The chicken because someone needs to take care of the baby.

Actually I believe that the egg came first. Where else would the chicken come from?!
Chickens come from prehistoric times, and two animals - both similar to what we call the "chicken" - they erm... yeah and the female laid an egg.
The creature's instincts was to keep it warm. When the egg hatched, out came an animal that was a combination of both the mother and father. We call this a chicken.
Both species of the mother and father of the chicken are now extinct.
It's debatable, but - thinking locially - how could a chicken be born with no egg? How would it be born?
Remember that this is my view and no one knows for sure.
