If its fresh blood after you have passed faeces then it's likely to be piles. If you have been constipated and have strained yourself, you may also just be sore and may see blood when you wipe yourself. If the blood is old and very dark, you may be bleeding further inside your stomach. You need to get this investigated by your doctor promptly.

∙ 14y agoThere could be a few simple explanations, one being a small tear in the rectal wall tissue. There is few layers of skin tissue located in the rectal lining therefore it is more prone to tear. Also there could be the issue of several bowel movements in a short period of time which might have irriated the skin causing anal bleeding. If it does not go away, go see your doctor.
