A:The Book of Joshua is the only book of The Bible traditionally attributed to Joshua in its entirety, although one view is that he completed the Book of Deuiteronomy after Moses' death. However, biblical scholars say it is wrong to attribute these works to Joshua. They say that the Book of Joshua is part of the Deuteronomic History (Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings and 2 Kings), written by an anonymous author during the reign of Josiah, a seventh-century-BCE king of Judah. Because the Book of Deuteronomy is attributed to the same author, he is now known as the Deuteronomist, and the religious reforms of King Josiah are referred to as the Deuteronomistic reforms. Thus, Joshua actually wrote no book of the Bible.
